Newton Public Library Launches Story Walk Around the Square

The Newton Public Library has started a new Story Walk, offering families an opportunity to enjoy a children’s book while taking a walk around the square.

The featured book is Kitten’s First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes, a children’s story about a curious kitten who mistakes the full moon for a bowl of milk.

The Story Walk begins at one of the Newton Public Library’s windows. Participants can follow the pages of the book around the square until they reach Gingers’ Gardens and Gifts, where the story concludes.

The activity combines reading with time outdoors, giving children and families a chance to enjoy a story while exploring downtown Newton.

Families are invited to stop by the Newton Public Library and follow the pages of Kitten’s First Full Moon around the square to complete the Story Walk.
