Sophomore Nancy Ruholl scored her 1,000th point during the Newton versus St. Anthony game which was also Pack the Place night where Peoples State Bank paid for admission and popcorn. Newton defeated St. Anthony with a final score of 59-50. The JV played two halves due to the small team
In addition to celebrating the four NCHS Senior Lady Eagles basketball players, the crowd got the opportunity to celebrate the breaking of a school record. Lily Kessler, Emma Nadler, Elley Bennett, and Macy Barthelemy along with their parents were recognized for their time playing and supporting the Newton Lady Eagles.
