The Jasper County Health Department has released its schedule of clinics and services for July 2026, including immunization clinics, WIC services, wellness screenings, and free blood pressure checks.
Free Blood Pressure Checks
Blood pressure checks are available every workday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jasper County Health Department. Appointments with a nurse are required, and there is no charge for this service.
Holiday Closing
The Jasper County Health Department will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Regular business hours and services will resume Monday, July 6, at 8:00 a.m.
Immunization Clinics
Immunization clinics will be held on:
- Tuesday, July 7 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 21 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Appointments are required by calling 618-783-4436. Children under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the consent form, and immunization records are required if previous vaccinations were received elsewhere.
WIC Clinics
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following Tuesdays:
- July 7
- July 14
- July 21
- July 28
WIC is a supplemental nutrition program serving income-eligible pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5.
Wellness Panel and Screening Clinic
On Tuesday, July 7, the Health Department will also offer a Wellness Panel and screening clinic from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Available tests include:
- Wellness Panel (Lipid Profile, CBC with Differential, CMP, TSH, Hemoglobin A1C, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D25 Hydroxy) — $200
- Cholesterol Screening — $20
- PSA Screening — $30
Fasting is required for the Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) and Cholesterol Screening. Patients should provide their physician’s information so test results can be forwarded to their doctor. Insurance cannot be billed for these services.
